Wow I signed up for this blog in 2007 and never posted anything so here we go.
A little about me, well I am a bit nuts. Hey at least I am admit it right? I have a couple amazing kids that run me ragged and keep me on my toes with never ending questions like " uhmm Mommy where does everything come from?" yeah how in the world do you answer that one to a 4 year old who doesn't know who Jesus is. Yup I said it we are not Christians lets just get that out of the way and keep on movin.
I am teaching my self how to sew and wow has that been eye opening. My latest project just about made me cross eyed. I have been wanting to learn for years. I have had a machine for 10 years eek 10 years omg I didn't realize it has been that long. Jeez that seems like a long time. I have lugged it from 2 apartments and 3 houses and a few boyfriends. It was a gift from a past boyfriend who is long gone. Best thing he ever gave me. And now I am making clothes for my babies. Thankfully my kids rock anything I make no matter how wonky.
Ok one thing you will learn about me if you haven't is I am very random I mean VERY random. My grammar is terrible. I tend to have run on sentences and thank Goddess for spell check LOL. Oh and I occasionally swear. Well if we met in person you would know that in the first 20min if talking to me. But I am very down to Earth and it takes a lot to shock me. I extremely loyal sometimes to loyal. I live in beautiful Portland Oregon and am proud to call it home (born and raised). I love art. I love to paint when I have time and space to do so. I really love to read. I like that it takes me somewhere else while I am curled up with that book. I am not sure I could live without coffee and chocolate. And trust me you don't want to see me try its not pretty. I am also a pretty good baker. Well at least I think so. Just ask my family. I am usually asked to bring a desert. I am still learning and love taking on new challenges. Oh and I love COLOR. I can't stand beige or white walls, well unless there are some bold prints or accents in the room. I am happiest when I am creating something or snuggling with my kiddos.
I have the most amazing family a girl could ask for. We are all very close and get together for every holiday and birthdays ( and there a LOT of birthdays). I never realized how blessed I am to have a close knit family I honestly thought everyone had one. I now appreciate it much more. I love that my kid have cousins and that my mom and dad live 4 houses down from us.
ok so I think that is enough for now. I have rambled on long enough. I am sure I will reread this and think " ooh jeez wft was I thinking" but oh well.
